A magical day spent with very special friends from Nice, who drove down to take me out to lunch in Sainte Maxime! Their friend is Chef at “La Crevette”, a lively restaurant in one of the cobbled side streets that winds its way up from the “Front” and brimming with customers. I had the “Gambas à la Provençale” with garlic and parsley, followed by a mousse-au-chocolat and we enjoyed a bottle of Rose from Domaine des Beaucas – a stunning vineyard I visited with my brother only 9 days ago!
